Broken and damaged Grit Bin
Reported via desktop in the Grit bin issue category anonymously at 16:45, Wed 19 January 2022
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3252813.
The grit bin at the end if St Marks Road, on the junction with Lyncombe Hill,BA24PA, by the wall post box, had had the lid torn off, so the grit and salt gets wet and leaks out.
Normally this wouldn’t matter, but in this frost the corner by the Science church is lethally slippy, and always needs gritting (luckily done by locals who live nearby).
Would it be possible to either fix the lid or get a new bin, please?
I realise that these bins and other street furniture are often attacked by anti social behaviour, grafitti etc and I did have a gi at repairing it, to no avail. Very irritating. Many thanks for all you do.
