Wrong signage

Reported via desktop in the Road sign damage category by Freda Monica Trinder at 16:46, Thursday 20 January 2022

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3255365.

This has been reported numerous times but has still not been addressed. The road sign on this single carriageway lane is stated as being the national speed limit which is clearly both really dangerous and completely inappropriate for the width of the lane. It is not a main road . Pedestrians and other road users are seriously at risk with speeding traffic and the sign needs to be removed. Please liaise with Ryan Wills Ward Councillor to rectify this issue as soon as possible.

  • There is still too much traffic travelling at too high a speed along Langfords Lane. Unless something is done about it, such as speed humps, someone is going to get seriously hurt or even killed. I have reported this quite a few times already and still nothing is done about it. Because the lane is ridiculously classed as national speed limit no official speedwatch can be carried out so these irresponsible drivers are risking other people's lives. For god's sake do something about it before it's too late.
