Surface damage around drain cover - Broad St

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3264982.

There is significant surface damage around a drain cover on Broad St. The surface area on the left of the drain has worn away leaving gaps in the tarmac.

An incident with a resident occurred on the 4th Jan when their foot got caught between the grating of the drain and the worn out area of the tarmac.

The foot was stuck and by attempting to remove it, they fell hard on to the ground.

Injured ribs (suspected fracture by A&E), torn shoulder and knee ligaments. Unable to lift anything following the accident and cannot bend down.

Happy to discuss indicent further with relevant team.
