Sheets of laminated wood from boat littering riverbank

Reported via desktop in the Excessive or dangerous littering category anonymously at 10:37, Tuesday 25 January 2022

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3265301.

The narrow boat that has been moored (abandoned?) since October 2020 at the west end of Mead Lane below Spion Kop is shedding its roof parts, presumably as a result of winter storms, and some are on the riverbank as can be seen from the attached photograph. If the river level rises after a period of heavy rain these could end up in the river causing a hazard to small boat users and wildlife. The waste also causes an eye sore at this local beauty spot.
