Signage for NCN4 Bristol Bath Railway Path where Riverside Path joins Brassmill Lane
Reported via mobile in the Road sign damage category by Andy Stewart at 15:14, Thu 27 January 2022
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3271372.
I row at Minerva Rowing Club downstream and we very often get people arriving on bikes who've mistakenly followed the Riverside Path trying to follow the NCN4 to the start of the Bristol Bath Railway Path.
Where the Riverside Path meets Brassmill Lane, just after the Locksbrook Inn and Dolphin Bridge, the Path splits.
There is signage attached to the street furniture but it's not clear that you need to leave the Riverside Path. It could be fairly easily solved by for example making the existing 'straight on' arrow point obliquely to the right. It could also be positioned more at eyeline level than higher up.
