Rubbish bins full and uncleared and excessive.
Reported via mobile in the Business bins left out early or after collection day category anonymously at 21:19, Tue 22 February 2022
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3336199.
This rubbish and excessive number of waste bins have been like this for months and is a health hazard and eyesore in a conservation area.

Please note that a major contributor to this problem is a business, formerly known as the Nourish Restaurant, which has been closed for some considerable time.So this is not solely a household bin issue.

Absolutely no change or improvement one month on from the original complaint.

Thank you for writing to residents requiring them not to leave their black bins outside of their courtyards on the main thoroughfare. The numbers have reduced but there are still 6 black bins left with no addresses on them plus the business bin, associated rubbish in a green curved box and the illegal wooden structure previously illegally used to house business waste. It is clear that the black bins can now be picked up by BANES waste services and reused for other residents elsewhere saving valuable council costs. Could you please do this immediately to help tidy up this confusing dreadful mess.

I thought it appropriate once again to update you on the safety hazards at this junction.
The installation of bollards to protect walls and pedestrians is welcome but the continuous use of this road by large vehicles and lorries is now of great concern and is causing daily chaos. I believe this is an unacceptable safety hazard and is “an accident waiting to happen”. I am conscious that this issue must affect the whole of Claremont Road and Camden. There is only one solution that I can see and that is to ban lorries.
I would like to know what BANES is doing to resolve this issue. Could you please urgently let me know. I have also sent a copy of this concern directly to BANES.
