Cyclist rat run
Reported via mobile in the Railings, bollard, & post damage category anonymously at 19:16, Tue 8 March 2022
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3372988.
The passage from St Mark’s Road to the Holloway has always been used as a shortcut by cyclists. Fine for the few that dismount and walk - but the vast majority just shoot on through. Especially the food delivery bikes. There is already a chicane barrier and two No Cycling signs, but that clearly doesn’t deter the average Bath cyclist. Would it be possible to add a third barrier to the chicane? Or some bollards with obstructions at handlebar height?
