Large tree over hanging from Eckweek Lane

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3415054.
Resident from 60 Westbury View advises a large tree that grows from within a hedge along the Eckweek Lane, is now so large it blocks the light from their garden.
Will continue to grow and obstruct as the year progresses.
(Hedge was recently trimmed back).
Resident requests permission to have the tree cut back professionally before nesting season begins.
Can provide photos.

The council's trees are programmed to be inspected in June and this tree will be checked to confirm whether or not the council is responsible for the tree or not. If it is the council's responsibility then the inspector will identify what works are required taking into account your request and include them in the routine works programme.

We have looked into this issue and found it is not the council's responsibility as the tree and land adjacent to this property is not owned by nor is the responsibility of the council. Please let the landowner responsible know instead. The report is now closed, further comments may not be monitored.
