Reported via desktop in the Trees and woodland category anonymously at 14:25, Thu 7 April 2022
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3444185.
There are a significant number of very large trees with heavy branches overhanging High Street in East Harptree which, if they blow down, could cause serious damage and possibly fatal injury. Would you please take whatever action is necessary as a matter some urgency to have the overhanging branches removed and the trees made safe. Will you please advise what action is being taken to deal with this very dangerous situation.

We've looked into this report and are investigating the issue. The trees are likely to be on private land but the location is not clear from the description also please explain how it has been assessed that these trees are more vulnerable to dropping branches than other trees. We will update this report once we decide what action to take.
