Water leaking from properties
Reported via desktop in the Flooding of a road or pavement category anonymously at 14:47, Thu 7 April 2022
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3444262.
I’d like to bring to your attention the continuing problem outside my property and my neighbours property on the public footpath and road which is a busy route, concerning water continually running 24/7 which appears to be from a house further up St. Ladoc road. The problem is the water freezes and is very dangerous as I’m driving down a slope to the main road, and my elderly neighbour has to walk down the slope. This water freezes in winter creating a slippery surface which is dangerous for myself and granddaughter entering and exiting my property and recently experienced sliding into the road. I also fear for my neighbour who would fall down when icey which is a risk to life. It doesn’t appear to be foul water, it appears to be fresh water. I have also along with my neighbour in more recent times water cascading through our gardens at the back of our properties. Please can this be looked at before a serious accident occurs. I will inform Bristol water too as this appears to be an ongoing problem. Nd
