Extended double yellow lines without any prior warning

Reported via mobile in the Faded road markings category anonymously at 21:31, Mon 11 April 2022

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3453443.

Recent new road surfacing work took place from the bottom of waterside road into waterside way & Waterford park . After the work was completed they marked up the junction markings & have extended the double yellow lines without any prior warning into the waterside road junction where I park my work vehicle ? Before the works there was space for 2 cars & now after the yellow lines extension there’s only room for 1vehicle .. Parking is already at a premium in this street due to neighbours getting planning to drop kerbs & so loosing this extra space is a problem .. I have pictures to prove the extension on the road markings & have parked my vehicle there for years prior to these works . Can the yellows be taken back to the position prior to the recent roadworks please ( space for 2 vehicles ) thank you

  • The 2 photos show where the double yellow lines ended before the recent works , they end inline with where the new recent road works begin & the fresh tarmac starts
