Incomplete yellow lines and blocked pavement

Reported via desktop in the Obstruction on road or pavement category anonymously at 16:07, Monday 25 April 2022

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3481873.

Incomplete yellow lines on Midland Road (full length but specifically the corner by Cassia coffee shop) in this area is causing blockages in the road (a fire engine recently got stuck here because of the poor parking and street blockage). People are also parking on the pavement meaning the footpath is constantly blocked to pedestrians. This is also causing multiple incidents of road rage and threatening behaviour to drivers and pedestrians as people get frustrated when only one lane traffic can pass. This has been a problem for months, recently some incomplete lines were painted but people frequently ignore them. Speeding is also an issue now that people are using the road as a cut through to cross the river.
