Railings are rusting

Reported via desktop in the Railings, bollard, & post damage category anonymously at 14:24, Monday 16 May 2022

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3529212.

Please could someone come out and inspect the railings on the bridge in Pensford on the A37. A resident has reported that they are rusting quite badly and concerned when they see children frequently leaning over the railings to look at the river.

Once you have inspected the railings please could you let me have your findings so that I can reassure the resident that either they are safe, or that the necessary work will be undertaken to make them safe.

This was reported to Council Connect in October 2021, but have received no reply.
