Pavement blocked by barriers

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3533101.

These barriers were put in place by the council I believe as the wall was dangerous. The wall was fixed weeks ago, but the barriers remain. I moved the barriers back against the wall but the householder came out and told me they were to remain to protect his wall until some bollards were to be installed by the council. I don't believe this is the case and the householder is very selfishly worrying about his wall more than pedestrian safety. I see schoolchildren walking in the road on a daily basis and this is just not right, it is causing a danger to the public for no good reason

  • With the size of the lorries cutting through this road and Beaufort Place to dodge the clean air payment on the London Road any bollards won't last 5 minutes!
