Parked cars block view at junction
Reported via mobile in the Faded road markings category anonymously at 14:04, Wed 18 May 2022
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3534526.
Please could the road markings (double yellow lines and 'keep clear') on Upper Bloomfield Road at the junction with Oolite Road be touched up so that drivers stop blocking the view of cars exiting Oolite Road, and stop blocking the dropped kerb. L Currently, parked cars make it very difficult to see oncoming vehicles when exiting Oolite Road. Also, cars frequently block the dropped kerb outside the Co-op (where it currently says 'Keep Clear' but it's very faded) making it impossible for wheelchair users or people with buggies to cross the road safely or indeed at all. The double yellow lines need to be re-drawn and it would be great if they could be extended into the area that currently says 'Keep Clear' as people just ignore that, or at least re-draw the 'Keep clear'. Thank you!
