Hedge on property boundary of 6 Magdalen Avenue
Reported via mobile in the Vegetation overhanging a road or pavement from private land or property category anonymously at 20:43, Thursday 19 May 2022
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3538013.
Part of the hedge of 6 Magdalen Avenue has collapsed over the pavement preventing pedestrian passage. The rest of the hedge, about 10 meters at least, is significantly overhanging the pavement, preventing use of about 60% of the pavement width. The property is unoccupied, but this problem has been worsening for at least 10 years, even when there were residents.

The obstruction of this pavement has now hit 100%. It is impassable and fully obstructs pedestrian access. Posts hold hedge are rotted out and the situation will only get worse, obstructing further stretches of this pavement. As noted in the initial report, this has been worsening over a big stretch of time and has now completely fallen over, with more to follow.
