Footpath obstructed by nearby householder

Reported via mobile in the Obstruction on road or pavement category anonymously at 12:46, Monday 23 May 2022

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3544836.

There is a green lane/footpath running to the rear of a property which has recently appeared to have had attempts by a householder to take control of it, possibly to claim it as part of their garden. This is a historic footpath which has been regularly used for many years. The footpath should be re-established and adequately marked at both ends to avoid any unnecessary doubt. It is clearly marked on all OS maps. This issue has also been reported to the Ramblers Association as it adjoins other well-known footpaths such as the limestone Link and monarchs way
