Uninsured untaxed vehicle obstructing road access for large vehicles on Ridge Lane
Reported via mobile in the Obstruction on road or pavement category anonymously at 13:03, Monday 23 May 2022
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3544869.
Blue Jaguar obstructing road access for tractors, recycling lorries and delivery vans. This vehicle is consistently parked either on the pavement on Ridge Lane or on Ridge lane opposite the turning to Ridgeway Close. Large vehicles cannot pass through, or when it's parked on the pavement school children, dog walkers, and elderly people have to walk out into the road because they can't use the pavement - this is dangerous for pedestrians as vehicles using the road cannot see them until they've already stepped out into the road. This vehicle is untaxed - DVLA are not interested, and uninsured, and has had neither for 2 years.

Our traffic wardens can issue parking tickets for parking on double yellow lines or other parking restrictions, but we can’t respond to issues of parking when there are no restrictions in place. If parking is causing an obstruction or there is a danger, please phone the Police on 101. The Police have the powers to enforce parking, as well as move a vehicle if it is causing an obstruction.
