Pavement unusable due to overgrown hedge

Reported via desktop in the Vegetation overhanging a road or pavement from private land or property category anonymously at 12:22, Tuesday 24 May 2022

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3547467.

The house adjacent to the lower school entrance has a hedge that overhangs the pavement. It is now neglected to the extent that it is impossible to use the pavement at this point. Cars are often parked at that location so pedestrians have to walk in the middle of the road at the very place where traffic is entering and exiting the school. It is very busy at certain times of day. Even when this hedge is tended it overhangs a sizable amount of pavement, reducing the usable width. And as it is partly holly, at the best of times it is not nice to have to squeeze past.
