Slippery surface on Fieldings Road Bridge

Reported via mobile in the Dangerous road surface (including ice, mud, spillage or debris) category anonymously at 12:04, Thu 26 May 2022

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3553350.

The ashfelt style surface has been rubbed away to bare metal, making this slippery in wet or icy weather. I’ve witnessed somebody slip and fall on this bit when wet and I’ve also slipped when icy, but we can not be the only ones and it’s particularly dangerous to children/elderly people. There are several missing patches on the bridge but the area at the top of bridge, the Locksbrook Road end is the most hazardous and getting larger as it wears from use.
