Damaged water main quiet st
Reported via mobile in the Flooding of a road or pavement category anonymously at 13:09, Fri 27 May 2022
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3556100.
This is a multi-faceted complaint. Much more than a water issue, however the councils reporting system is difficult to navigate so I will try to summarise here. There are building works going on at 11 Quiet St by the Raven pub which are clearly in breach of listed building and planning regulations. I work near by and have noted demolition works that are not permitted. Secondly, although perhaps more importantly, there appears to be a complete lack of regard for health and safety. I do not wish to divulge further but I believe a visit to the site would be eye-opening indeed. Finally, today, workers were seen interfering and ultimately damaging the water main on the pavement in front of 11 quiet street (I am sure it is not legal to interfere with wessex water’s property without consent.) This has resulted in water flooding the pavement and into the street. Please for the love of god investigate this site and the work happening within before any more property becomes damaged. I wish to remain anonymous as the landlord has a reputation.
