Ongoing danger at Rosslyn Road/ Newbridge Hill junction

Reported via mobile in the Obstruction on road or pavement category anonymously at 23:29, Friday 10 June 2022

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3587310.

Blind left turn from Newbridge Hill into Rosslyn Road. Even at under 20mph, I have seen and been involved in numerous near-misses here. The problem is that cars coming up Rosslyn Road (north direction) are forced into the wrong lane by the provision of parking bays so close to the junction in their lane. Compounded by an inability to adequately visualise the road by cara turning in from Newbridge Hill because of the angle of the turn. This would be drastically improved if the last car parking space in the bay was removed- allowing cars leaving Rosslyn road back into the correct lane in due time before the junction with Newbridge Hill.
