Overgrown public footpath
Reported via mobile in the Overgrown vegetation in Council parks and green spaces category anonymously at 21:38, Tue 14 June 2022
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3597091.
The public footpath that runs from the "Waitrose" roundabout on the A4 and along the boundary of Wellsway school has become very overground so that it is almost impassable. I am 158cm tall and the grasses and nettles are now at my head hight. The grasses themselves are not a problem and can be brushed away but the nettles within make it very uncomfortable to walk through for an adult and impossible for a child to walk through.
I have taken my garden shears and cut the worst back a little but what it really needs is someone with a strimmer to do the job properly.

Please can you arrange for the public footpath between Snapdragons nursery and Broadmead roundabout to be cleared of overgrown weeds and bushes and at one point a tree which is hanging over the path so that people have to walk on the grass verge to actually get passed it. I am elderly, 5ft 6" and have duck and weave my way along this stretch of pathway to go shopping. thank you
