Roundabout covered with Astro turf
Reported via mobile in the Pavement damage category anonymously at 17:17, Wed 15 June 2022
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3599415.
The roundabout at the bottom of Pagan’s Hill (towards Bristol) has been covered by AstroTurf. This is a direct contravention to B&NES climate emergency commitment, due to the removal of previous vegetation and coverage with plastic-based material. Recommend that the material is removed and covered in wildflowers, to create a micro habitat for pollinators.
Thank you for this report. We will review the details and carry out an inspection of the site if required.
