Drains x 2 blocked outside Highlands Farm
Reported via mobile in the Blocked drain: Blockage inside drain category anonymously at 08:43, Fri 17 June 2022
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3603202.
Both these 2 drains are fully blocked with compacted mud, caused by tractors dragging mud from the verges. In wet weather this causes the road to flood as these are the only 2 drains for a 100m plus stretch of road, making it hazardous. I reported this what seems like more than a year ago and received the response ‘this will be picked up under routine maintenance’, it never was. The problem has not been fixed and it remains dangerous. Please do not just close this down again without taking corrective action.
