Over grown vegetation

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown vegetation in Council parks and green spaces category anonymously at 14:59, Saturday 18 June 2022

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3606212.

Vegetation at back of Holloway cul-de-sac houses totally out of control ... Vegetation previously maintained by council & kept several meters (boundary fence now obscured by brambles etc) away from balconies, now almost touching properties - gap only kept passable by dog walkers. Also, lack of regular maintenance on self seeded trees house side of boundary fence has lead to light being blocked to rooms at rear of properties. As we pay ground rent to BANES, some more proactive 'gardening' for the area would be greatly appreciated.

  • BANES map shows clear space between Holloway house & trees ... alas, this no longer exists. The boundary fence down the bank was swamped several years ago - as will the balconies at the back of the houses soon. :(
