Vehicles causing an obstruction on Corston Lane
Reported via desktop in the Obstruction on road or pavement category anonymously at 22:05, Friday 24 June 2022
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3621847.
Seven cars, one motorbike and one large van are parking on corston lane causing an obstruction. It is only just passable and often causes one car or the other to reverse to enable the other car to proceed up or down the road. At night it is even harder to pass these cars as corston lane lane does not have street lights. This issue has been going on for approx two months.

2/7/22 There are still numerous vehicles parking at the bottom of Corston Lane causing an obstruction. There are no properties nearby, so they have no need to be here. I have witnessed larger vehicles (eg school coaches) coming down the Lane having to mount the kerb to pass by them This is a danger to pedestrians walking up the Lane from the bus stop on the A4 into the village, along an unlit road. PLEASE can this issue be addressed as a matter of urgency before someone is injured. These vehicles have NO NEED to be here.

The local police with the local councillor from saltford came and looked at the problem on 8th july at 1440, the police said Quote 'there is no legal offence of obstruction taking place', well if this photo taken later that day is not obstruction then I do not know what is obstruction ,regards gary
