Littering

Reported via desktop in the Excessive or dangerous littering category anonymously at 22:02, Wed 29 June 2022

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3634974.

Paper recycling streaming from a recycling vehicle as it travelled along the B3114 Chew Stoke to West Harptree at 10.30am today, this appears to be a common problem with paper as there was also a paper litter trail going from Hinton Blewett to Camely this evening, and frequently seen on other collection days, apart from the fact that the driver must have seen the litter streaming out in his rear view mirrors, i don't blame these guys as i understand they are under pressure to complete the rounds, there does however need to be a net, a door or some other cover over the paper container to stop this happening as you are taking litter that has been placed in bins and spreading it along the roadside, effectivly fly tipping!
