Nettles and brambles encroaching pavement
Reported via mobile in the Vegetation overhanging a road or pavement from private land or property category anonymously at 16:55, Fri 15 July 2022
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3679646.
Single pavement on stockwood lane is overgrown with vegetation, causing it to now be too narrow to walk on safely (stepping into road) due to brambles at head height and nettles. It has been like this for over 2years but is getting worse. There is no pavement on the other side of the road that can be used alternatively. The vegetation and build up of debris could be cut back and cleared to add about 2 - 3 feet to the footpath. The road is busy as I’ve witnessed many near misses between pedestrians and vehicles.
