Tree stump trip hazard.

Reported via desktop in the Trees and woodland category by Victor Windt at 10:39, Wed 20 July 2022

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3689983.

Dear Sir/Madam

About a year ago a car drove into a tree along Midford Road (north-side, opposite number 137). Most of the tree was removed by the Council. The remaining stump is unsightly and a trip hazard close to the road. Could the Council please remove the stump and plant a new tree.

Thank you for your help.

Yours faithfully,

Victor Windt.

  • Dear Sir/Madam,

This problem has still not been resolved. BaNES promised that the stump would be ground down, however that has not happened. Additionally, could you please plant a replacement tree after the stump has been dealt with.

    Thank you for your assistance.

    Kind regards,

    Victor Windt.
