Bin required at bus stop by Hicks Field road

Reported via desktop in the Excessive or dangerous littering category anonymously at 14:06, Thu 28 July 2022

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3713702.

There is excessive rubbish all around the bus stop and continuous rubbish thrown over into the adjoining woodland. This could be alleviated with a rubbish bin positioned at the very busy bus stop.

Updates

  • Thank you for reporting this issue. Unfortunately, the Council does not have funding to install any new litter bins in new locations nor empty from new sites at this time. The Council has allocated capital funding to the replacement of damaged or worn out bins only. We do have litter bins in some areas that are underutilised. We will look to remove these and try to replace them at new locations if the new location has a greater need.
