FOOTPATH between washpool lane and Haycombe lane

Reported via mobile in the Railings, bollard, & post damage category anonymously at 12:12, Friday 29 July 2022

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3715956.

This is supposed to be a FOOTPATH not suitable for horses or any kinds of vehicles. This issue has been going on years with motorbikes and 4x4s and horses. Took my kids for a walk 28th July to be confronted by 5 4x4s who thought it was their right of way. Photo taken by a shocked resident. Took my kids for a walk 29th to be confronted with another load of 4x4s. It is far too narrow for them to be using it making pedestrians with disabled kids get out the way when they shouldn't even be using it. There is gates between Haycombe lane and the main road by Haycombe cemetery yet nothing from Haycombe lane to washpool lane. They are making a complete mess of the FOOTPATH due to it not being designed for them, it's bad enough keeping the kids away from horse droppings who also shouldn't be using it. This is starting to become a danger for kids and dogs and and other person on foot due to having to get out the way for people that think it's okay to ride/drive anywhere. There's going to be an accident soon if something isn't done about this FOOTPATH.
