Overhanging trees onto private property

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3721525.

I have tried and tried to get this problem resolved. The over hanging branches are not only a problem they are ruining my grass, the roots are coming through my land on both trees which are not on my property but extremely close. I request someone comes out and assesses the situation. I believe I am within my rights to cut back all the over hanging branches which will result in them all be thrown over my border onto the footpath.
