Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3738318.
There has been ongoing problems with Contractors working on the Construction at the Old Bakery on Jews Lane parking their Vehicles on lower Lansdown View. There is currently double yellow lines and these are being totally ignored. I am unable to access my house by car to unload items and more importantly to pick up my Husband up who is in ill health. There is no way emergency services can attend houses 1 to 6 Lansdown View. I have spoken to the site manager and he has done nothing. But he did say that Jews Lane will be closed until the end of August. If this is the case then why should residents suffer! I have looked at the Construction Management Plan and it clearly states that Jews Lane will not be closed for more that 3 weeks in a 3month period. This was requested by Highways as a condition. It also states the surrounding properties has full pedestrian and Vehicle access during this closure period. This is stated in section 6.10 of the CMP /CEMP Documents under S278 requirements. Also the yellow Deely signage and mangled metal holder is lying in the road. Please can you advise. Many thanks. .
