Zebra crossing to help access to park

Reported via mobile in the Faded road markings category anonymously at 09:33, Thursday 11 August 2022

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3746346.

For many years now we have struggled to cross the Avon Mill Lane road going into the gates of the park. Traffic often speeds along the road and with the bend obscuring the view it is dangerous to cross confidently into the park. With small children or the elderly would particularly find this difficult and unsafe. I would like there to be a consideration for a zebra crossing here leading into the park gates. If this is not possible perhaps a new flashing sign for either the speed limit or children crossing. The current sign is dirty, faded and unnoticeable.
