Next to the kissing gate at the bottom of Popes Walk
Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain: Blockage inside drain category anonymously at 19:11, Sun 14 August 2022
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3753298.
This drain has been blocked for years and we keep reporting it on Fix my Street but nothing gets done. When the water pours down Popes Walk there is not drain to catch it and it ends up flowing dramatically into Perrymead. We have tried poking it through the grill but cannot clear the sheer quantity of soil. The drain is running properly as we can hear the water flowing underneath the blockage - (water from a higher drain)so it should not be a big job to lift the cover and dig out the soil. Please get it done - as I said we do keep reporting this job.
