Incompatible road signage

Reported via mobile in the Road sign damage category anonymously at 18:40, Wed 24 August 2022

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3778471.

New signage on the chicanes for priority are in the wrong order. All are give ways to each other with blue right of way signs. Will be an accident when two cars collide after thinking they have priority.

  • Today on my way home there was nearly a head on collision at this site. The give way signs are not in correct order. How is it sensible to have all signage as waiting priorities both ways? The correct way to signage a chicane can be seen in Stratton-on-fosse, which works very well. There will be a fatal crash if this is not investigated appropriately. As someone who uses this road twice daily, i am not impressed. What was quite frankly a safe road has been turned into a racetrack with chicanes on a blind corner and blind horizon. Sensible! Please sort the signage out to alternate give ways. Thanks you.
