Edge of pavement with stream fallen away
Reported via mobile in the Pavement damage category anonymously at 13:19, Sun 28 August 2022
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3786028.
Again a vehicle has driven into the stream and damaged the stone edge. This has happened several times. The weeds are/were overgrown in the stream and so vehicles don’t know the stream is there. Drivers should not be mounting the pavement but they do. Council contractors chop the weeds and they soon grow back. Residents have cleared parts of the steam by pulling up the weeds and disposing of them. We have offered to do this but need the council to provide a way of disposing of the vegetation. Meanwhile this needs repairing. Thank you. Opposite 5 Southville Terrace.
