Street lamp at Brock Street corner with Margaret Buildings not working

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3805347.

Street lamp has been working intermitently for a month. The last two nights it was working but tonight 5th September is not working again. Street is poorly illuminated when this particular lampost is down.

  • We are sorry for the delay in this repair while our contractors source the relevant lamp for repair. We trust our contractors will return in the near future to complete the works.

  • The Street light on Brock Street adjacent to Margaret’s Buildings is still not working.

    The street in this area is very poorly lit now and this needs resolving asap … it is well over a month that this problem has been continuing

  • We have followed this up with our contractors today and requested they source the replacement lamp that is needed and attend asap. We are sorry for the delay.

  • Our contractors have advised that they fitted a new lamp on the 4th October. If the light is not working on 6th October we shall of course as our contractors to re-attend. We are sorry the light is not working correctly.

  • 10 October the street lamp is still not working. The road tonight was very dark and worrying for people concerned about their safety. There are a lot of elderly residents in this area of Bath.

  • At 6.30pm on Wednesday 12th October the lamp was still not working.

    The lamps at the other ends of the street were already illuminated.
