Drain blocked again road impassable in heavy rain

Reported via mobile in the Flooding of a road or pavement category anonymously at 08:29, Saturday 10 September 2022

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3815378.

Junction at bottom of Norton lane and B road drain blocked with silt. When heavy rain strikes road run off from B road east comes down into the bottom of Norton lane , overwhelms the capacity of drain and the road becomes impassable. 2ft deep which backs up the road to Norton house. This could be solved by increasing the drain capacity of the drain on the B road as has happened 100yds further west by the cricket pitch and has eliminated flooding there. As an interim measure the drains need desilting again. I keep the road gutters clear as they they never get swept but this would be helpful as well!
