Kier & Western distribution engineers were outside 2 Winscombe Close yesterday and have completed their work and have left a coil of cable in the joint box in the hole that they have dug to repair the cabling. I spoke to them as I had noticed that the door was damaged and they advised to report the light to yourselves. As this street light gets damaged on a frequent basis, would it be possible to move this light away from the kerb (engineers advise there is more than enough cable to allow this to be done). This is a narrow cul-de-sac and larger vehicles can struggle getting long the street if any cars are parked. With the light being next to the kerb it means that mounting the pavement is not possible for them.
We've looked into this report and shall arrange for the door to be replaced. As regards the location of the column, we shall consider this further and provide feedback. We will update this report once we have more information.

We confirm that further remedial works are required to light 001, which includes fitting a new door, and our contractors have been instructed carry out this work. We trust they will attend shortly and that both lights 1 and 2 will be working after they have attended.
As regards the enquiry to move column 1, ( outside house 2) there would be a fee chargeable for this service and if necessary the request should be submitted via our street lighting inbox for consideration. Any request of this nature can currently be submitted via email@example.com
This report is now closed but we hope this information is of help.
