  • The Botanical Gardens is an ecologically important space. The rat population is managed to certain extent by baiting, however the links to the allotments, golf course and local gardens means that we cannot eradicate all the rats.

The biggest problem we have in controlling rat numbers is that visitors leave food out for the birds and this food also supports the rats. Read more about Parks & green spaces in Bath & North East Somerset. services/ sport-leisure-and-parks
