Speed limits on the road
Reported via desktop in the Potholes & road surface category anonymously at 12:21, Fri 23 September 2022
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3843670.
In 2016 drainage work was carried out on Moorledge Road. The trench went through the change of speed limit signs painted on the road.
I have requested these to be reinstaded as it is close to the entrance of R O Dando & Sons and where my grandfather was killed in the 1960's by a motorist who was going to fast and not paying attention.

I know there are signs in the hedge indicating the change in speed. But, these are completely invisible for several months of the year due to the hedge growth - when the hedge is cut the drains become blocked.

The signs in the hedge are not visible when the sun is low. The speed limits need to be painted on the road AND the rumble strip across the road needs to reinstated as it was VERY badly damaged in 2016 when drainage work was carried out.
