Poor road surface - Combe Hay Lane road subsidence

Reported via desktop in the Potholes & road surface category anonymously at 13:30, Wed 28 September 2022

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3854680.

I’m not sure if you are already aware of this issue, but the road seems to be getting worse by the day. The concern is as we approach winter & the inevitable frosts, the more severe damage is going to be caused.

Hopefully someone from the department could take a look as a matter of priority.

  • The road drains on left coming down are blocked, they should run under road to open ditch on other side which has been had some digging out done to it a few months ago when road was closed. the verge/kerb is being eroded, there is too much water and ice on road and potholes are forming especially around blocked drains.
