The footpath known as Donkey Lane

Reported via mobile in the Vegetation blocking road or sign visibility - In a residential area category anonymously at 07:34, Tuesday 4 October 2022

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 1 week, 3 days, 3 hours, 11 minutes later. Council ref: 3866149.

As you can see from the photos the handrail on this steep path is unusable. The growth of Ivy and bramble is both over the top of the handrail and extends by over half a metre or more onto the path . This makes it impossible to hold the rail when descending as your feet become entangled in the undergrowth and it is slippy due to mud. This area needs more than sweeping, it needs to be cut back well beyond the rail and the pavement scraped of mud to beyond the rail too. It would be advantageous to do this before the major leaf drop that will occur. Thank yoy
