Dangerous and confusing lines

Reported via iOS in the Faded road markings category anonymously at 10:45, Sun 16 October 2022

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3882717.

A car drove straight at me this morning as the road marks are unclear. Especially when light shines in them, the ‘removed ‘ marking appear stronger than the correct (but faded) marks.

Please can this be addressed urgently before there is an accident

  • It looks like the old lines have been removed so hoping that the new lines are now painted as, right now, there are no visible lines, which means it hasn’t solved the problem of oncoming traffic on the wrong side of the road.

  • This issue remains and again this week cars were on course for head on collisions

  • Still nothing has been done and this morning a local taxi, who I would have thought should have known better, was driving straight at me whilst trying to avoid the queuing cars in the lane he should have been.

  • This issue remains, traffic on the opposite side of the road continues to drive on the wrong side headlong toward oncoming cars and it is dangerous.

I had two cars almost drive into me head-on this morning.. you removed some of the old and confusing lines, but failed to repaint the new lines, which means that cars continue to drive on the wrong side of the road. Please address this before there is a serious accident.
