This is a follow up to Report Number 3922124 which has now been closed. The problem has not been resolved, the lights are still out and along with the excavation works poses a serious physical risk to both pedestrians and residents. Please resolve this issue as soon as possible

The cable to light 4 has been damaged by the nearby utility works. We shall now investigate further and raise the necessary orders for repair to undertaken. We are sorry this light will be out for a while longer until these repairs are undertaken.

We are still investigating this issue and the cable damages caused by Wessex Water. We await further information from our contractors in order to decide the best way forward. We endeavour to undertake these repairs/ further works as soon as possible and apologise for the delay so far.

Hi, It looks like the lights were fixed last Thursday, 24 November. Thanks for doing this. Unfortunately, I noticed on Sunday 27 that they had failed again. Could you have another look at them please? Cheers, Callum

We can confirm our contractors are required to carry out further works. Underground cable has been damaged and excavations are needed to locate the cable and re-connect the supply to the lights. We are sorry the lights will be out for a while longer until this work takes place.

If there is an issue with a wall, we would encourage you to submit a new report to highways plotting the correct location, with photos, and postcode so they can locate this issue. Unfortunately street lighting team are unable to help with issues regarding walls or pass on information without further location details. Thank you.
