Poor layby surface of Windrush on Scrumbrum Lane
Reported via desktop in the Potholes & road surface category anonymously at 15:46, Wed 23 November 2022
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3987650.
Entrance layby is in poor repair and not sloped against the road surface. This acts as a floods plain for the debris that washes down Scumbrum Lane which is a substantial hill with verges either side. The result is soil and debris settle on the entrance layby which is hazardous to us (we are both in our 70s) and obscures the water access point located there. The debris also washes down into our yard and property causing substantial mess. Would like the entrance layby to be retarmacked with an inclined slope against the road to solve this problem.
