Blocked drain on The Street by Bramblings House
Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain: Blockage inside drain category anonymously at 09:20, Mon 28 November 2022
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3998619.
You have advised me that FMS 3966209 has been fixed but it hasn't. I believe a drain was cleared on one side of the road, but the main offender appears to be the one opposite which constantly spills out water across the road - this is the more dangerous aspect of the issue. The second photo shows this quite clearly. The drain is failing completely and probably needs more attention than a quick clear out of leaves.

Water is still pouring across the road and along the entire frontage of my property. It has been doing this for weeks now and is a recurring issue every time it rains through out the year. When it freezes it will cause an accident.

Your contractor came an hour ago and I'm afraid made no impact, these photos show the state of the road now. The drains have collapsed, I imagine and require more work. I have contacted Wessex Water to enquire about the work they undertook last year and they confirm they have completed their programme and that this issue is entirely your responsibility. Kindly confirm what plans you have - and when a site visit might take place. Thanks

Overflowing drain outside my property causing flooding across the road. This is going to cause further structural damage and if we have another cold spell will freeze over and become treacherous to all those using the road.
