Hi Street light on lane between Lockingwell Road and Downfields. Reported previously and still no action to fix the light. New lamp post has been installed but does not work. Dangerous unlit walkway as a result as no other lights. Needs fixing urgently as it is winter and could result in slips on ice. Previous response stated it needed a new lamp post but this was installed months ago but has never worked.

  • We can confirm we have followed this up with our contractors and asked them to plan and completed this work as soon as they can.

  • We can confirm that our contractors now have the necessary scaffolding equipment they need to remove the old concrete column. They anticipate they will complete works by the end of September. We are sorry for the delay in this work being completed.
